Maestro Awards is an official host of the Awards Worksheet since May 20th 2000. Due to large shifts in award programs, we no longer offer it for download on our site, but will provide you with a direct link - and the tutorial (see below) how to use it effectively. The worksheets are updated frequently, (normally around Sunday's) or as soon as the revised version is published.

This ingenious Worksheet was founded by Don Chisholm, formerly (now Maggi Norris) the owner and Webmaster of Website Awards. He has spent hundreds of hours to keep it current, and ensure it's huge and renowned success. This website is the best pit stop you can make if you are into winning awards! Recommended areas are the awards articles, "Worlds Top Awards" and tutorials.

What is the Awards Worksheet?

The worksheet is a free resource of more than 800 award sites, enabling you to apply for awards and track your activities. (See how to use below). Awards are listed alphabetically together with its Award Sites! rating.

How do I use the Worksheet?

The steps below are proven fool proof! This is the way I use it at the moment, but I'm always open to suggestions. Good luck with your applications! For the best result we suggest using the steps as follows:

Setting up hyperlinks to the award graphics and respective award programs is also possible. You can use the award's name (i.e. "gold") to link to the location of the award's graphic on your website, and you can use the "Website Title" fields to establish a link to the respective award program's website!

STEP A: Edit the Worksheet

  1. After downloading the worksheet document open it using your HTML editor program.
  2. Delete the Awards from the Worksheet you are not interested in. (Highlight the row and press delete)
  3. Delete the Awards you have already won, or use the "Application Log" column to insert the date of archival.

STEP B: Applying for Awards

  1. Open the HTML file in your default browser.
  2. Use the hyperlinks to enter the award site of your choice, and apply for the award.
  3. Open your worksheet in your editor, and note the date of application, using the "application log" column - SAVE your worksheet!
  4. Refresh in browser, and continue applying for some more awards.

STEP C: Updating your Worksheet

  1. Updating your Worksheet is very important if you want to keep track. Download the revision file at least once a month (One month's worth of records are kept on the revisions).
  2. Add the new awards you are interested in to your worksheet being announced (New award site added) - use Highlight row, copy & paste method to add.
  3. Delete the awards from your worksheet being announced "deleted from Worksheet" If they get reinstated, it will be on the revisions sheet.
  4. Update the existing awards you have on your worksheet with the information from the revision sheet (i.e. Award Sites! Rating changed, temp. not accepting submissions etc.)
  5. Save your changes - You are done!

We are approved host to the worksheet files. Page updates will occur on a weekly base, or as soon as they become publicly available. The worksheet was formerly owned and updated by Don Chisholm, and now by Maggi Norris - We receive the latest updates as they occur. More information are available at Website Awards.
