The Special Edition Award

The "Special Edition Awards" are issued from time to time to websites and /or individuals that have touched me in some way or another during my regular Internet outings, or to webmasters who has contributed heavily towards their respective Internet communities, and to our website's success.

Please do not send me any mail to apply for it or use this award image without my written permission! These are meant to be special, and I want to keep it that way! You are always welcome to apply for the Maestro Awards.

Recipients of the Special Edition Awards:

The following individuals has been honored with my Special Award, and deserves being recognized for their work and friendship:

Maggi Norris, Issued on 12 April 2000 for her loyal friendship and noteworthy contributions towards this website's successes.

Maggi is the Webmaster of Ask Nem5 and owns one of the most prestigious awards in the world: The Nem5 Award. She is also involved in various other website projects, writes articles, a very capable web designer, and author. She is of the finest people I've ever met, and I'm lucky to have her as my friend!

Dr. Bernard Benichou, Issued on 17 June 2000 for exceptional contributions towards this website, and his loyal friendship.

Bernard is a dentist, and makes CD-ROMs which gets distributed to over 170 000 medical practices. Bernard is more than just a capable webmaster!  He's also into software programming. You can visit him at his website, Visulogic. (Site has closed)

Don Chisholm, Issued on 19 June 2000 for contributions he has made towards the Internet, his advice to myself and others, and his hard work maintaining the best awards index page in the world: "The Awards Worksheet".

Although I do not know Don well enough as I would like it to be, he has been known for his hard work and dedication towards the Internet community, without asking a cent. I learned about Website Awards website in late 1998, when I applied for my first awards, following a link from an awards site to discover "The Worksheet" This is also the home of the Worlds Top Awards, and of course the Superb! Awards program. World class articles about awards, written by some of the world best web designers / awards program owners and the Awards tutorials are just some of the recommended resources.

David Bancroft, Issued on 03 August 2000 for exceptional work and contributions towards the Internet. David owner of  Award Sites!, maintains "the worlds premier awards rating website", giving thousands of eager and learning webmasters the opportunity to apply for the best awards available on the Internet.

Personally, I have no idea who this Master is behind "simply the best". What I do know is, is that David must have spent thousands of hours by keeping his monstrous website current, and deal with hundreds of e-mails everyday, ranging from applications, upgrades and complaints - a formidable task, which is in my opinion an unmatched feat.  Whenever you visit Award Sites!, hopping from one page to another in your quest of being honored for your hard work, just pause for a moment and think about the master who has made this all possible for YOU. We applaud and thank you for this, David!

Please note:

This accolade stand completely apart from my awards current awards program, and can not be applied for. Also, it has no rank nor rates - but surely this is my most difficult one to get!
