Maestro Awards are prestigious awards, and we continue maintaining quality by ensuring that only legitimate owners may show off their Maestro Award graphic.  All award winners are stored in a database, which also contains the serial number of their award images.

Our awards can easily be verified by simply matching its unique identification number in the Webmasters Portal - without this number the award is faked.

How to verify award winners:

1. Each award have a unique identification number. You need this number to track down its legitimate owner.

   Awards issued before January 1st,  2002:
    
   Numbers looks like this on the graphic: M0001 or  0001

   1. M = Merit Awards
   2. B = Bronze Awards
   3. S = Silver Awards
   4. D = Design Awards
   5. G = Gold Awards
       

   Awards issued after January 1st, 2002:
    
   Numbers look like this on the graphic: 02-0001

   1. 02 = Year 2002, etc.
       
2. Use the verify tool (right hand side) to search for issued awards numbers. Use quotation marks to look for exact match:

   Issued before January 2002:
   - Select the type award (Merit / Bronze / Silver / Gold)
   - Enter the number displayed on the award (Example 0001)

   Issued after January 2002:
   - Enter the year displayed on the award image (Example 2002)
   - Enter the number displayed on the award image (Example 0001)
    

3. If the search resulted in nothing or a different website than being displayed please notify us. In addition, award images without a serial number are most probably faked / invalid:
