Hello Mr. Berends,

I am writing you to let you know that you are the winner of my T.C. Design - Eye on Design Website Award of Excellence for October.  I only offer one award per month, and one level of award, so I like to think that winning the award is an indication of the value I place on each month's winner.

The other reason is apologize for being late and for being in a rush with all of this.  Apparently, there was a problem with my POP3 mail account and your application was received, but in a different mailbox that I rarely check. So, since it was not received in time for the earlier month's award, I moved you up to this months award.

The only thing is that I have had some health problems that led to some time away from the computer this month, and since I'm the only one who does the work on this, it made me late.

Would it be too inconvenient for you to send me a banner for your site ASAP and some words for your award page?  I like to include some words by the winning webmaster on his/her motivation, purpose, goals for their sites.

I think you offer a wonderful service, and I would be proud to award your beautiful, well-designed, and helpful website.

Again, my apologies for the rush I've had to put on this.
